Update on MicroPlace: If You Live in Pennsylvania, read the fine print...

I went ahead intending to loan money through MicroPlace. It's a fairly straightforward system of buying securities, but when I attempted to complete my purchase, a notice popped up that said I was ineligible to do so because this financial instrument is not available in my home state, Pennsylvania. I had this problem last year as well. Seems that in 49 states, no problem, but Pennsylvania residents are out of luck. I communicated with MicroPlace and they are working on it and hoping Pennsylvania falls in line soon!

True, Calvert notes are not available in PA. It does say so next to invest box though. For example:

You could always try a note from oikocredit such as
