This Week's Blog Carnivals are so clever!

I am amazed, as a relative newcomer to blogging, how clever the compilers of Blog Carnivals can be. Given that the job is to organize and annotate blog posts - sometimes dozens of them - so that readers can quickly assimilate the themes, doing it creatively is a huge challenge.
This week's Carnival of Personal Finance is hosted by Plonkee Monkey using a Glastonbury Theatre Festival motif. So you not only get a great wrap-up of the material, but a nice little side education about British culture. (I was pleased that my Two Fry-Pan Theory of Feeling Rich was featured in the main tent!)
Today Dough Roller has brought out a hilarious hypothetical Presidential Debate Carnival of Money Stories. My confiscated ATM story is featured as the way to close in on the national debt - just confiscate the government's ATM card, posited by Fred Thompson.
Well-done, everyone! What amazing creativity and dedication is out there. Putting together these carnivals must take hours and hours.

I love the idea of confiscating the government's ATM card! This is basically what the

war tax resistance

folks have been doing, not letting their "tax" dollars reach the Federal government. Some are quite creative. Read their personal statements on the NWTRCC site.
